The things women ask us
Everything we get asked most — taste, ingredients, whey versus plant, and how the subscription works. If yours isn't here, write to us at hello@menopantry.com.
The basics
Who is Menomix for?
Women in perimenopause and menopause. It's built around what your body needs in this stretch — more protein, more fiber, more plants. That said, it's food. If your husband drinks half your smoothie, no harm done.
Is it a meal replacement?
It's the foundation you turn into a meal. Blend a scoop with the milk of your choice, add fruit or a handful of greens, and you have a real breakfast that keeps you full for hours — not a diet shake standing in for one.
What does it taste like?
Warm and mild — cinnamon, vanilla, a little ginger, mildly sweet. It's flavored by the ingredients, so there's no artificial sweetener aftertaste. And it isn't chalky; that's the first thing women tell us.
How do I actually make it?
Shake one scoop with milk and go. Or blend it with fruit, nut butter, or greens if you want a bigger meal. Two minutes either way.
What's in it
What's actually in it?
Real food: 21g protein, 6g+ fiber, and ten polyphenol-rich plants in a scoop, plus flax for omega-3s and adaptogens like maca, tart cherry and turmeric. Not one isolated nutrient floating in water.
Are there added vitamins or medicinal compounds?
No. It's only whole foods — no added vitamins, minerals, or medicinal compounds — so it sits comfortably alongside whatever else you're doing for your health. As always, check ingredient compatibility with any medications you take.
I'm wary of fiber — it's bothered my stomach before.
Start with half a scoop and build up, keeping water and movement up as you go. A little adjustment is normal — that's your gut bacteria getting to work — and it usually settles within a couple of weeks.
Can I take it with HRT, a GLP-1, or whatever I'm doing?
Yes. It's food, not a hormone or a drug, so it works alongside just about any protocol. HRT and nutrition do different jobs — food is still how you support muscle, bone, blood sugar and your gut.
Whey or plant
Which one do I pick?
Whey if you do dairy — it's creamier, and the one most women choose. Plant if you're dairy-free or vegan. Same 21g protein, 6g+ fiber and ten plants either way. The 2-minute quiz will settle it if you'd rather not decide.
Can my partner or kids drink it?
Sure — it's food, not medicine. It's formulated for what women need in midlife, but nobody's checking IDs at the blender.
Ordering and subscription
How often do I actually need it?
Every day, honestly — hitting your protein, fiber and plant targets is a daily job, and this is what makes it easy. Start with the 14-day size to build the habit, then move up to 28 days when you want it covered start to finish.
Can I skip or cancel?
Anytime, in a couple of clicks. Skip a month, change your size, or stop entirely — it's your subscription, not a trap.
What if I don't love it?
Then we don't want your money. We made this to make your mornings easier — if it doesn't, our guarantee has you covered.
The approach
What's 30-30-30?
Our shorthand for the daily target: 30g of protein per meal, 30g of fiber a day, and 30+ different plants a week. It's the simplest way we've found to turn the science into something you can actually hit. Here's how it works.
Will it help me maintain a healthy weight?
It isn't a weight-loss product. But holding your weight does get harder in midlife, and Menomix supports it in three ways: protein helps preserve lean muscle, protein and fiber make meals more satisfying, and together they moderate the rise and fall in blood sugar after you eat.
Most women notice they're not hungry by 10am long before they notice anything on the scale.
Does this replace medical care?
No. Nutrition is one of the most powerful tools you have, but it works alongside your healthcare, not instead of it. Menopause has a lot of moving parts — food supports them, and your provider helps with the rest.
Nourish more. Age less.
One scoop covers protein, fiber and ten plants before the day gets away from you. Start with 14 days and see how the mornings feel.
